Overview

"My Soul is lost in hell!"Follow Spirit as she descends to hell, in search for her lost soul. Symphony is a spiritual romance of self-discovery; a journey into humanity's individual and collective darkness and beauty. A surreal musical adventure into damnation reveals to Spirit what it means to be alive.P.D. Meyer has given us a divine Spirit coming-of-age tale, that begins in a world of change, wherein a young girl struggles for life as she lies dying in a hospital, with her mind trapped in the hallucinations of hell. Prophetic undercurrents and esoteric revelations are woven into and throughout the musical text, challenging the intuitive and wise to look beyond the surface narrative. Touches of romantic encounters and entertaining, instrumental characters brighten the dark world Spirit finds herself in.The place of the damned is examined through the narrative of Spirit's adventure. The disjointed lyrics that move Spirit's life forward are kissed by the thoughts and impressions which flow through her mind. While madness threatens to overtake Spirit, she is guided by the fallen.Glimpses into spiritual realms are shared through lyrics, song and madness. In these pages, we discover a hell where even the most beautiful spirit may lose her way back to heaven. Symphony for Fallen Angels is a two-part narrative of descent and ascent. In Symphony, convoluted, chaotic turns of phrases, at times seemingly without any reason or meaning, share the author's vision of hell's demonic love and hatred of humanity. The strange unfolding narrative shares a demonic prophecy of mankind who has fallen into a unified collective, becoming hell's heaven. It presents a dystopian hope of bringing about the darkening demise of heaven itself. Symphony is a poetic, twisted, prophetic narrative begun from a musical-trance scribing; as an Avant-Garde blending of Abulafian-like mysticism with Dada letterism. Through weaving spontaneous flowing words with mystical symbolism and minimal interpretation, the narrative emerged as a surreal story that unfolds in a dark imaginal realmP.D. Meyer delivers poetic-like, prophetic novelettes. While likened to the literary style of James Joyce, Meyer's writing carries the prophetic voice and vision of one who has been to the Otherside of life and returned.(For Mature Readers. Contains graphic and potentially offensive language.)
