Now, fifty years forgotten, an injustice took place. Suddenly terrible things begin to happen in the peaceful area near a game reserve but not in the game reserve. The terrorized citizens who live in the wetlands area are beset by something unknown and unseen. Their close interaction as neighbors are changing daily. Are the events taking place somehow related to that long ago injustice? That is the question Deputy Sherriff Erwin Davenport has been charged with finding the answer to and stopping whoever, or whatever, is terrorizing the area. Why around the reserve but not in the reserve? Why only certain families and not others? A little understood relationship between a young girl and a college professor sheds some light on the mystery. But is what has been come to be called The Demon stopped?
