Some cities have secrets that should be kept hidden forever. Thomas Chaucer’s life was a mundane life until one morning he took shelter from the rain in a doorway. It was a very inconspicuous doorway, which was why he had never noticed it before, but he soon discovered that the door hid a gruesome secret. There was something living beneath the streets of the city. An ancient evil confined to the darkness for eight long centuries. Something with razor sharp teeth and a hunger for human flesh. All Thomas wanted to do was get to work, but fate had other ideas. Suspected of murder, with no one to turn to, his life spirals out of control, his only way of ending the nightmare to follow his worst fears: To confront the ancient evil below.
