Overview
This book is a sequel to "For God's Sake." It's the same action packed, fast paced story. There are many twists along the way towards the final dramatic end. Len Strickland and his family survived and Idriss (Satan) is gone, but Len's job isn't done yet. He gets things going and the community lifestyle is welcomed by most, but not all. Some still want a life of greed and hatred. Some are resisting. Some are challenging him and they're winning. Len has to go into hiding and is gladly welcomed by Mary, a self-made gang leader. What's in it for her? Why's she helping him? Len has to use all his guile to thwart the enemy. He's losing. He's desperate. Worst of all, the power has gone to his head. Harriet is a young girl who was dumped by her mum in the early noughties and doesn't know who her dad is. Numerous foster parents have failed to change her vicious behaviour until Annabel and Dan take on the task. They're devout Christians and simply tolerate her, hoping that God will save her. Father Jacob solves the problem. He shows Harriet how the Christian faith can be a family for her, a family she's always wanted. More important to Harriet, God will always forgive her. She can do anything she wants. Idriss is dead and in Heaven along with everyone else who's ever lived and died. Saul (God) doesn't understand humans so takes him to Earth in the hope that Idriss can tell Saul what to do about the problems. Did Saul make a mistake? Idriss grabs onto something that gives him some power and he's going to use it to get what he wants.
