Overview
On the edge of her 20th birthday, Samantha Paige stumbles upon a strange tome donated to her family ran bookstore. Old, untitled, and mysterious looking, she knows the book has to be special. The very next day, an eccentric man by the name of Alistair Neembo comes to patronize the store. Introducing himself as a ‘procurer of fine antiquities’, he is searching for an obscure book called the Gemini, which happens to be the very same piece of arcane literature Samantha has locked away in the store vault. From his silver tongue to his 1800s Victorian suit, Samantha is as much intrigued as she is afraid of Alistair, and to that end, lies to him and denies ever seeing the book. The Gemini seems to have a magnetic pull upon Samantha, and begins to corrupt the young woman’s already fragile mental state. She soon involuntarily reactivates the book which turns out to be a field guide and summoning device for old world demons known as Necronites… and Alistair Neembo could not be happier…the antique procurer is not what he seems… The quiet mountain town of Harbinger Valley will never be the same as an army of demons is summoned from the book to bring forth chaos everlasting. Commanded by three titanic Baron demons, the unstoppable horde of Necronites sets out to hunt down 40,000 humans as a sacrifice to open a gateway for the old gods to come back and rule the earth once again. And the key to the gateway? The sacrifice of a soothsayer. All of those horrid dreams and macabre visions she had nearly her entire life she chalked up to mental illness, but no, Samantha turns out to be the very last piece that Neembo needs to bring back the gods of darkness. Yet, one thing stands in his way...a mysterious and vengeful telekinetic by the name of Newt Dit Doon arises from the shadows, ripping demons limb from limb with his bare hands. Haggard, and having a past with Neembo going back over a 150 years, he is the one last hope for saving Samantha, and the entire world.
