Who hasn’t gotten into any mischief? Tom sure has. Tom is a medieval thatcher that goes on some mischief with his pals on his birthday. Tom and his pals sneak in a mill at night, take apart the grind stone, and roll it in the river. they do get caught and it’s Tom’s job to get the stone back. You would think it would be as easy to go to the river, get the stone out, put the stone back, and apologize to the miller. For Tom it’s not. Tom first has to survive an attack by a couple of creatures in the forest. Will Tom make it home for supper? Or will he be taking a nap for an eternity in the grave?Buy the book to find out!
