There are two sides to the story of good versus evil. Lord Scythic was born an Abhorrim. One of the immortal King Vaelic's Dark Lords. That means his side was already chosen for him. When a great power rises to the South, the first real threat to Vaelic's rule, Scythic is called away from the lands he loves on a journey across the violent and harrowing world of Mircalla. A world haunted by a terrifying cast of characters including the enigmatic Captain, the bloodthirsty Half-Ogre Gracent, and the mysterious and beautiful rangers Yffa and Bil. As Scythic battles with the last shred of his humanity his sojourn across Mircalla calls into question everything he thought he knew about good and evil, love and hate, and life and death.
