As a storytelling medium, everyone loves a good ghost story, and furries are no exception. From Tempe O’Kun (Windfall) to Kyell Gold (Green Fairy), and the works of this anthology’s editors (Abandoned Places, Slashers) are just a few titles where one can turn to for looking for ghost stories which terrify, make you laugh, or leave you just as haunted and chilled as the protagonist by the final sentence.The pens of furry literature’s brightest want to bring you a mix of all the above, shivering your timbers with the following yarns: Venture along the wrong path to Kyoto in Alison Cybe’s “The Road to Kyoto,” and while there, step onto a new landowner’s cursed grounds in Anastasia Spinet’s “The Well.” And don’t forget to wave to your friendly (with benefits) ghosts in “Postmortem Plundering” by Ferric before joining a group of urban explorers exploring the wrong place in Nathan Hopp’s “The Buccaneer’s Bay.” Though, knowing too much about things can lead to interesting consequences, as presented in “Snowblind” by Robert Shelters.
