Ron Whitehead.I don't even like Ron Whitehead. I wrote Hero Apomixis while an inmate in Attica Correctional Facility 2000/01. It is the story of an prisoner who loses his mind. Much of the story is taken from real life events in my life and the lives of others. I think my work gives some pretty damning examples of the "Help" you can expect from the state. The work describes crime and violence in detail. I know a few people who read Hero and never spoke to me again.
