The Shadowlands separates the Free Lands, the Kingdom of Menandor, Benelvin, and Nephilim from the Dark Lands in the South. The Wizard's Guild is appointed to protect the Northern Lands from incursions by the Dark Forces in the South. the Shadowlands is a one hundred mile wide boundary that separates them, here in this place lurk creatures that can easily travel back and forth between the two. The Wizard's are sent to scout the area for any evidence of the Dark Mages working to use the creatures there to spring an attack on the North. It is a place where Magic works on a different plane. It is incredibly dangerous for either side to loose Magic in the Shadowlands the nature of the area twists the effects of both the Light and Dark Magic and causes it to skew. Into this enters Denerra Bright Star, Sartok Storm Bringer, and Faravel First Ranger of the High Council on a secret mission to discover how the Dark Mages are causing the inhabitants of the Shadowlands to go North and attack the realms of Light. Prince Dark Star, son of King Black Heart the Cruel, ruler of the thirteen tribes of the Dark Elves, along with his sister Princess Blood Moon and their father are attempting to enter the Well of Power, and make a direct access to the Free Lands and to destroy the home of the High Elves, Benelvin. They must seal the entrance to the Well of Power, and with the help of Tandriel and Phandriel, two Nephilim, and the two giant, Magnus and Gagnon, they are in for the fight of their lives and all the Free People of the North Lands are what's at stake. If they fail, there will be no place safe from the Dark Mages or the Fallen.
