"If you believe in something hard enough, then it will become true." Little Deborah May loves her mother more than anything else in the whole world. Her mother is kind, loving, and wrote a poem just for her, The Redbird's Song. But there's something wrong. Suddenly her mother has disappeared and her father is acting weird, only telling her that her mother is sick and very contagious. Her father is talking to himself when he thinks he is alone, she saw him through the window. Confused, missing her mother, her father telling her that everything is okay but she knows that it isn't, there is only one thing that is certain, and that is the Redbird's Song will guide her home, to her mother's loving arms, she will soon behold.
