In fact, he did die, the only issue was is that he was staring down at his bullet-riddled corpse. Azazel is part of the RAGE series and can be read as a stand alone just like the other three books, Rebecca, Ginji and Egg. Reading them all reveals a 5th story underneath the madness. Look out for the others if you enjoy my work.
