If all things must end and disappear, then why does anything start at all?These questions and more plague Boxxy's mind as it finds itself stranded in the void. With nothing to occupy its mind or teeth, the monster finds itself assaulted by intrusive thoughts that dwell on the uncertain and unknowable aspects of life. and force it to face its own mortality. When faced with the enormity of eternity and its own, fleeting insignificance within it, even that ever-churning mass of murder and mayhem finds itself wondering what is it all for? No matter how many shiny things it hoards or tasty things it eats, Boxxy will inevitably cease to be. Oh, sure, there are many ways to extend a lifespan, but true immortality is an unattainable fantasy. Even gods can be forgotten and disappear forever. What chance does a mere box with teeth have?And yet the monster clings to life, despite itself. Survival is ingrained into the abomination's every muscle fiber and nerve ending. The body will fight to keep going even if the mind has given up. If all things must end, then the creature's primal instincts will do all in their power to ensure Boxxy is the last one on that list.Even if that means hastening the end of all other things.
