The Gatehouse stands surrounded by trees and countryside that in turn hide the derelict Tenebris Manor behind it. The once magnificent Jacobean mansion was used in World War Two as a place where wounded soldiers were to be tended to. Brad Lloyd thinks he has found the perfect home in the Gatehouse for his new wife Evie and his two teenage stepchildren, Seth and Emily. A place where they can all be a family. Once in their new home their lives begin to unravel as decade's old secrets have to be told in this picturesque Staffordshire village.
