In Entropy, Robert Koob has written a dark adventure story about the paranormal: Aiden Recker leaves the care home where he has grown up to move to a small American town to live with his sister. After enrolling in a networking class, he meets others who see these beings, and discovers–to his amazement–that he has special powers which can defeat them. The acquaintances become friends as they join in a common cause: to use their powers to protect others. Aiden then undertakes a very personal journey of self-discovery.
