Among the ranks is a seasoned Hunter named Mason who has spent his whole life dealing with supernatural races, man eating monsters, rogue mages, and beings from other plains. When he takes in Alecia, a young werewolf who is the last surviving member of her House, as a trainee, they must come together to face a nightmarish beast eager to feast on the residents of a small mountain town.
