Meanwhile, Justin and Cal, along with Crampton and the lion, falls into a trap that is laid for them from a lich that is a magic-user named Elron Blanch. A few hundred miles to the East from the boys a young wizard by the name Abra Cadabra is kicked out of the Wizard Academy called Elarron School of Wizards, Abra is set on a quest for a year to find his true purpose as a wizard. Abra and Kithra, his fellow mage (which Abra is in love with but will not tell her), are trying to find ways to help Abra control his crazy spells and enchantments from going wrong and why are they going wrong. Time marches forward as the story unfolds...The following excerpt is from the book:1 “I’m hungry pup. It’s time to feed!” The Lycanthrope King rushed forward snarling. The iron chains behind him still connected to the wall stopped him. What was left of the formal Baron Westly Inotheis became more than a nightmare for Cal to handle. He saw short hair spout all over Westly’s body growing thicker and thicker. Cal jumped once more against the solid rock wall as the crazed man followed him. The Baron, scratching the air with his claw-like fingers, desperately trying to reach Cal. Only six feet separated them. The iron chains seemed to be slowly stretching apart from the immense strength of the Baron. It seemed the Baron’s eyes glowed brighter as more hair appeared over the flesh of the Baron. The Baron was laughing, “It seems Fate is on my side young pup, the chains are weakening from the years of corrosion!” Again, the Baron slammed his arms forward as if Cal was standing right in front of him. The Baron howled. The Lycanthrope King was coming! Cal watched in horror as the Baron’s face elongated outward and heard the loud snapping of bones and cartilage. The crazed Baron was reaching at his own flesh only to rip at it. Clawing great strips of flesh from his muscled frame the crazed man was throwing the ripped flesh to the stone floor. The howl that emitted from the throat of the Baron was clearly not coming from the throat of a human, the howl sent chills deep within Cal’s body as goosebumps raced across his body. The howl pierces Cal’s hearing as it vibrated his whole body. The Baron was no more; instead, a towering lycanthrope was inches from Cal’s face. Drool dripped off its teeth. The hot stench flowed all over Cal’s face. The Lycanthrope King was huge towering at least four more feet over Cal. The King was powerfully built as he stood with his arms widespread with talons at the end of his long fingers. The skin of the Lycanthrope King was dark, almost as dark as ebony. Matted black hair sprouted everywhere covering all the flesh. The loincloth that the Baron wore was now lying on the stone floor; the fibers of the thread burst apart from the thickening waist.
