Steven has lost everything in his present time, he can’t see a future, he knows his future lies in the past, back in the 18th century. In a terrifying encounter ‘death’ gives him that chance, and for over five years he lives the life that he always wanted. But then one day, that life becomes a waking nightmare, as he fearfully realises that ‘death ‘ tricked him, ’death’ was using him all along and now unwittingly his egotistical actions could now bring about the apocalypse if he can’t reverse time. Because he knows there is no cure for this petrifying plague in the 18th century, if man couldn't find a cure, over two centuries later, how can they ? And if he can't, and if he can't reverse time, Will mankind cease to exist?
