For a thousand years the blue skin which has protected Agassiz from the contaminants of Toxic Wasteland is staring to breakdown. The very thing that the Bio-Sphere protected the people from has now infected the interior environment.The High Council and the Enforcers dominate by the laws they create and control the population with. Being sentenced to walk the Tunnel of Death for any crime, including turning sixty -five years of age releases the High council from the responsibility of sharing limited resources with those who chose not to contribute to society. Almost every aspect of life inside the Bio-Sphere is highly regulated yet there are those who have the courage to organize a rebellious faction.Adriana is the botanical scientist who has spent her entire life in the solitude of the agricultural sector of the Bio-Sphere. Her work has been focussed on the genetic modification of crops to increase food production. The main reason Adriana took over her father's position so far removed from society was to hide the fact the she was born a 'seer'. The only visible act of rebellion that Adrianna has ever engaged in was to shorten the length of her ground sweeping skirts for ease of movement in the agricultural fields. When she discovers that her benefactor has initiated the demise of the rebellion and her, the only seer in Agassiz, she is guided by her visions to escape the imprisonment of the dome. Her visions become clearer and more intense as she is led directly to the man who has shared her visions for the last thirty years. Unfortunately the arrival of Adriana and her companions add fuel to that already volatile situation of the two kingdoms outside the dome and Adrianna fears that with all the chaos and interference the people of Agassiz may never be freed.
