After a hundred years of vampirism, Jo’s over the wild and reckless lifestyle. She prefers to spend her time with her nursing home-bound son and finding the perfect pair of noise-canceling headphones.Staying safe is easier said than done. Especially when her vampiric brother tells everyone he wants to try to become an actor. She’s appalled he would risk exposing them, but Jo, not being one to start an argument, agrees to let him try, praying nothing will go wrong. When an old photo resurfaces and brings attention to the family, Jo must decide whether to help dig her brother out of yet another mess or stay on the sidelines and keep herself and her human son out of harm’s way.
