For Pete, a rural Midwesterner, the Zombie Crisis was just media hype and mass hysteria, until the zombie apocalypse came to town. A chance encounter with a lone zombie leads to his banishment from his virus-fearing community. After a violent showdown, a local despot offers Pete a choice: death or scavenging for supplies. Pete's decision results in an odyssey through a zombie-infested city and a frantic race back home to save his family.
