Don't even try to figure it out; it's doubtful you will.If you're squeamish, you may want to hurry over sections of the story. It's a brutal world the characters live in, and the author doesn't hesitate to show it. But there are also tender and light moments to lessen the tension.It's a fascinating read from the start of book 1 to the last page of book 3.
