What begins as a seemingly straight forward psychotherapy session inevitably leads the therapist into a vortex of confusion and emotions that threaten his training, beliefs and his way of life. Under hypnotic regression, the client reveals a series of personalities and events that eventually climax in a mind shattering paranormal epiphany. Parallel to this, Peter, the therapist, is having his own personal problems when his soon to be ex-wife suffers a devastating accident for which he blames himself. His problems are compounded when the two events, the client's puzzling case and the guilt over his wife's accident, become inexorably linked and force him to question his very existance. Has the client come to be healed or to heal the therapist?
