She isn’t shy about bending the truth to garner interest. Ashley isn’t proud of what she does, but she also needs to eat. And then comes the email. It is from a person featured in one of her old articles. Ashley isn’t the kind of person to look back, but the offer is hard to resist: Five hundred to show and do an interview. Five hundred to write the article when it’s over. For a person on the cusp of getting evicted from her apartment, a thousand dollars proves too tempting. Ashley will show.
