As a teenager Rose released something she didn't intend to - a portal that a dark stretched figure emerged from. It haunted her dreams, rocked at the end of her bed, and made her nights even darker than any nightmare she'd had before. She thought she could be rid of it; close the portal, banish the shadow darker than a shadow, or just move away from it. She thought wrong.
