But why does she haunt Mr Lawrence Pinchpenny? Mr Lawrence Pinchpenny is merely a lowly a solicitor in a prominent London law firm. But the titular Graveside Bride wishes to force him to experience feelings of guilt, regret, and despair? Why is this malevolent spirit from beyond the grave so intent on revenge? Why can she not rest in peace? And what role could Mr Pinchpenny have had in her sorry tale? Written in rhyme this gothic tale of mystery, The Graveside Bride is a short story which shares themes with Edgar Allan Poe’s ‘The Raven’ Wilkie Collins ‘The Woman in White’ and with Charles Dickens ‘A Christmas carol.’ Includes a Preview of MR BONE JANGLES the next novel by Angela Goldsmith
