This short story is the third book of the Halcyon Village Trilogy. This short story compliments the first book of the trilogy, the novella “Halcyon Village”, and the second book of the trilogy, the short story “Kraoos before the Rise: Descent into Darkness”. Unholy Alliance tracks the scheming and efforts of a great queen of hell that plans, then rises into the world to take the souls of two people that it hates. The great queen ends up coming in contact with a third person whose soul, if taken by the great queen, ends the world and delivers enormous powers and influence to the great queen. The great queen already possesses menacing powers as it enters the fight, but the great queen is confronted by three people that refuse to lay down for the demon while the demon destroys the world. An epic struggle ensues. Like the two earlier works of the trilogy, this literature delves into ancient mysticism and the variables of the human condition where hatreds, desires, along with held grudges, can bring about results that are destructive to those holding on to such conditions of the heart, and potentially destructive to society in general. Like the earlier works, this literature touches on the dynamics of the eternal fight between good and evil and delves somewhat into one person’s view on the origins of good and evil. The novella Halcyon Village is the only book of the trilogy that is done as both an ebook and a paperback, the other two are ebook only.
