Overview
A collection of short stories, mostly with a twist of horror but occasional humorous moments. I have tried to aim mainly towards psychological horror by basing stories of the sort of things in which we have an inbuilt, and generally irrational, fear; the dark, forbidden secrets, and more.Deadly Vow stemmed from a tale I was once told, allegedly true but, in reality an urban myth. I hope that Muscle Memory doesn’t deter anyone from accepting necessary donor parts. With Billy Bull I have tried to introduce a little inner smile. Lucid Dreaming is based on the real skill which can be developed where a person can go to sleep and control his dreams. When I was very young I, along with countless others, used to say a little prayer before climbing into bed – ‘As I lay me down to sleep, I pray the Lord my soul to keep’. Role reversal was the premise behind Indians and Cowboys. Dead of Night stems back to my earlier comment about lying in bed, listening to the sounds of the night. We all have degrees of luck in our lives, be that good or bad, hence things that happen can be just A matter of Luck. Have you ever wondered where dreams come from? Meet the Dreamweaver. Finally, The Box of Darkness could maybe be considered as a modern Pandora’s Box. I would like to think that readers will be made to ponder on their own feelings that the stories may conjure up, rather than simply fill the pages with blood and gore.
