Overview
A small vacation suddenly becomes a fight for survival as a group of teenagers are chased by a uninvited guest with intent to kill. I: The Cabin It was a rainy night. The consuming darkness of the sky was only matched by the strong wind, and along with it the rain poured down endlessly. During all the commotion my brother and I were barely able to see the moon through the dirty fogged up glass window. It was the last glimpse of light I remember seeing before the door was almost broken down by that thing that hunted us all night. It was already painfully obvious to me that it couldn’t be human. Or at the very least I thought so. As panic slowly crept in, I had mere moments to take it all in as a few feet from us an overwhelmingly sized shadow attempted to kill us. My friends were nowhere to be found. “I wonder if they're okay.” My brother said as panic strongly reflected through his face. We were together just a few hours ago, all nine of us. I never imagined something like this could ever happen. The monster was about to tear the cheap wooden door of our cabin, how the hell did we end up here?Thinking back, it was a normal day. My brother and I were getting ready to meet our friends at a small cabin near the beach. Since my parents were away due to work, we decided to rent a place just to have fun and relax for a bit. And to be honest, we got a great deal for a cabin. In fact, it was so cheap we could not pass up the opportunity to buy it. The man selling us the place seemed like a weird dude. He had long whiteish black hair all wrapped up in a bun, I noticed he kept looking in different directions often. He probably had some sort of condition or a weird twitch. He was wearing a normal polo shirt. I could notice as its short sleeves failed to cover a significant amount of scratches he had in his arms. They seemed already healed but since we could still see them, I thought that maybe he was a worker or an athlete of some sort. After he showed us the cabin we stopped to talk just outside near the entrance. I remember that he told us his name was Johnson but insisted that we call him teacher. “Thanks for renting the cabin guys” Johnson said as he stretched his hand to each of us individually. “It’s been a while since I have had people stay here.” “Oh no thank you!” I politely said as I shook his hand back, taking the keys to the cabin. “It is amazing we could buy a place like this so cheaply.” But it was weird, and to be brutally honest too cheap to believe that we could stay here for the night. So, I decided to ask. “So, Johnson… I-” “Oh no, it’s no problem, and please call me teacher ”Before I could say another word, Johnson stopped me. I took a moment to gather myself. He seemed really interested in being called teacher. Maybe it was his way of making us feel welcome. “Ok... ha-ha teacher” (reluctantly) “Again, thanks for the deal and the opportunity to stay here at the cabin. Forgive me if I sound disrespectful, but I must ask. Why sell this place so cheap?”
