After their apartment is destroyed in a fire, Brandon and his girlfriend, Jennifer, move into his domineering mother's basement. Scarred by the fire, Jennifer withdraws and refuses to leave the basement becoming sullen and mean until one day she has an idea. New skin will make her fell better. Guilt ridden, Brandon goes down a grisly path of stalking and murdering women for their skin until he meets Lucy. She inspires him to turn his life around and as things improve, Brandon soon comes to find his life isn't the way it seems.
