The Holy Lovrian Inquisition serves as the nation’s domestic military, worshiping a god that they call “The One”. in reality, they protect the prosperous while leaving the destitute and infected to suffer in slums, also hunting down those born with the ability to sling spells. Arthur Holbrick is one such inquisitor, but he is different from the rest, His options having been to either join up or starve on the streets. He desperately tries to bring aid to his former home in the city slums; The Lower Quarter. Seeming to be stepped on at every turn, Arthur has become somewhat hopeless, nervous, and timid. But when a mangled body is found in the lower quarter, Arthur must face his fears to not only find the killer, but fight against those who want him dead
