Overview
On 20 October 1850 Theodora Louise Toussaint departed the Toussaint family home on Cumberland Street and entered a private carriage. Her absence from the bustling port side city of Charleston, South Carolina goes largely unnoticed until the spring of 1863 when a ghastly discovery is made in the then abandoned family home. Whispers start to circulate that the discovery is connected to Theodora. War, destruction, and family meddling, however, cause all speculation and intrigue to fall to the wayside. Decades after the discovery, Andrew Price agrees to inherit the house. To his horror he finds that not only is the past alive within the walls of the Cumberland Street house but it is also seeking resolution.
