The Phlebos and Tormos, immortal and sterile beings born of a dying God, have lived in peace and isolation for thousands of years. When suddenly and inexplicably their immortality is collectively lost, the two groups must put aside old hatreds in order to unite in a race against time to regain their eternal life or face certain extinction.However, the bonds of friendship are now beginning to fray between the two races. Months have passed since the disappearance of the lost expedition and the two nations languish in apathy with no hope of a cure. Amidst this new atmosphere of distrust and anger, new figures emerge to seize control, hoping to seek vengeance and usher in a new order.Meanwhile, as the Vesnian homeland spirals closer and closer to calamity, the survivors of the lost expedition find themselves in a strange and foreign land. With seemingly no way back home, the lost expedition must unite with their long-lost siblings the Aquormos and do the unthinkable: adventure out into a hostile world in search of a cure, and the truth as to what they really are.
