Found – The Sword of Lucifer – Book One At the time of the Creation God divided the Dark from the Light and the Light from the Dark. As a mark of this he formed two swords which embodied these powers. The first was placed in the hands of the Archangel Michael. The second was to be held by Lucifer and was stolen by him but lost during the Rebellion as he was exiled from Heaven, greatly reducing his power. Retrieved almost a millennium ago from beneath the Temple Mount by the first Crusaders the Crucifix on which Jesus was killed has been kept a secret in a quiet English church until it is stolen by a shadowy group of Satanists. Mark Hobson and his partner Lilith are called upon to track it down and recover it because it is the only thing which stands between Lucifer and the Sword he has lusted after since becoming the ruler of Hell. The dark secret that it protects leads from Jerusalem two thousand years ago to the Cathar massacres in France in the twelfth century and then to England. When a corrupt political leader wishes to unleash the powers it contains to gain power for himself the race is on between Mark and the forces of darkness as both sides struggle to find the crucifix and stop the release of what it held within its holy wood. Mark will do anything, including allowing a demon to possess him to halt the corrupt power at the highest levels of government as they attempts human sacrifice to gain their ends. It is a race to the wire as their growing love for each other helps Mark and Lilith in their struggle against the powerful politician and leader of the Satanists who is literally bent on raising hell. Packed with action, romance and a good dose of eroticism Found is a great read.
