Overview

After an intrepid ghost hunter was murdered during an investigation, her soul was captured by a light spirit calling himself Geoffrey Oswald Davies. He is the ultimate ruler over the Reassignment Department, where souls are given a second chance to repopulate the earth. The reassigned souls are unaware of the truth about their given task to fight the so called “dark evil spirits”. As the souls “Walk in” to a new body and a new life, it becomes apparent that everything is not as it appears to be. The investigative mind of a “walk in” police officer, Danny Kay, begins to grasp the truth behind their recruitment. The truth becomes dangerous when the “Walk ins” start to disappear without a trace. The “walk ins” compare notes and band together to escape the alternate dimension in which they have unwittingly been placed. Help from a Pagan High Priestess leads Danny and Lucy into a world inside the earth, where they meet an ancient earth spirit through a Psychomanteum. Mathias is a powerful earth spirit who wishes to help the souls in turmoil escape the clutches of Geoffrey Oswald Davies and restore them to their true path. They join the earth spirits in the fight to restore the continuity of their life cycles upon the earth, and take the knowledge of the “shift in the earth’s consciousness” with them. Once returned, their task is to teach the children of the planet how to protect their environment from destruction and become part of the universal consciousness. The complete story starts from book 1, From Hunter to Hunted.
