The background of the 1960s is the setting of the story. The U.S. was at the height of its Golden Age. It was America’s time in the sun. It was in this setting that a handsome young prince and his consort walked onto the stage of world events. And behind those events, an unseen hand attempted to force an occult agenda into being. The presidential assassination of the 1960s became the Rubicon of U.S. history. The first protagonist, is a priest who is entangled in the international political and esoteric maze of the tragic events. The second protagonist a Kansas legislator and Mason, is witness to mysterious murders steeped in Masonic symbolism related to the assassination. The events that evolve in the story, such as the Widow’s trip to the Island of Delos and her Hymn to the Sun, are based on books, magazine articles, and newspaper accounts of the day. Written as historical-fiction the story is based on decades of research into Western occultism and symbolism. From the romance of Camelot to the Sun King, this is the story of the unexplained occult symbols and innuendos that followed in the wake of the assassination.
