The Warners are a very logical family, which means they don’t believe in silly things like magic, the supernatural, or getting things for free. But all this changes when a small kitten shows up at their doorstep; a kitten that has the special ability to grant wishes. Although the kitten’s unusual powers may seem like a gift to the Warners at first, the family soon realize that there is a monstrous force at work in the house--and it may not be exactly what the Warners expect. Set in the colorful 50s, this story explores the idea of human greed and how it can turn even a seemingly perfect family into something else entirely.
