Overview
Rick and Jill Wilson have spent their lives doing the right things and working hard so that at the age of fifty they are financially ready to leave the jobs that served their needs for twenty eight years and find their dreams in a rural setting as they intend to make their pastimes their occupations. Rick longs to be a writer and Jill loves to hunt for antiques. They find the house of their dreams in the mountain town of Parrish, some five hours from New York City, and they take the plunge and move. As they are setting up housekeeping they meet the pastor of the community church and are moved by his magnetism, Jill somewhat more so than Rick. They do attend his services and Jill is compelled to join the congregation at once, while Rick has an uneasy feeling about the townspeople and the push he's feeling to follow the faithful right away, especially the push that comes from the local sheriff. What unfolds is a conspiracy that has gone on for centuries. Originally released as two books, Glad Tithings and No Tithings, this is the complete story of the plight of the Wilsons. They uncover a world and a history that human kind never knew existed. Their revelations may in fact explain prejudice. But who'll believe them? The original release of Glad Tithings received several reviews and none less than four stars. This is a truly frightening tale. The re-release of the full story is sure to keep you turning pages.
