Overview
The author’s ancestors refused to let their folktales and cultural heritage remain buried with them in moss-covered graves. So they have crossed the great barrier and appeared to him in dreams. They reminded him of the ole days when Grenada was an enchanted island and The Supernatural was a way of life. These are a collection of tales both old and new filled with the essence of Grenadian cultural heritage. You the reader might even find similarities within your own culture. The author hopes that readers will appreciate them and that their children will perpetuate them the world over. The journey takes you through space and time where you will encounter the Ligaroo, a man that sucks the blood of his victims at night while they sleep. You will also hear about a big-headed little man, who terrorizes a village. There is the story of a death cult that uses the supernatural to steal the souls of babies at birth in order to enrich themselves. There is the true account of the evil that befell a retired teacher. The author even reveals his own initiation into a secret society on the island. You will have an encounter with La Diablesse, a lady in a long gown who seduces men. Her long gown hides her feet, for one of them is not human. Be careful of the hour you walk the street for you might meet the wedding cake. There are over twenty stories of the supernatural within the pages of this book waiting to be read. Some will make you laugh, while others are frighteningly entertaining and will keep you up at night. Are you ready? Then turn the page.
