If there was ever a more beautiful six year old than Kristin, she had never been seen in the village of Sandal. Long blonde hair, like spun gold, framed her cherubic face. Sparkling green eyes rivaled the most precious emeralds with their depth and brilliance. Her soft skin was the healthiest shade of sun kissed bronze and everyone who had ever known her agreed, the gods were in an especially generous mood on the day they allowed her life. Unfortunately, the generosity of the gods is often fickle. When tragedy strikes her short life, she finds an unlikely salvation in the whims of an old magician who gives her an edge few people ever get... A second chance. Now cursed to walk the realm between life and death, she seeks a champion who can save her from reliving her fate year after year. For too many cycles she has been failed by the people she has asked for help and her ethereal enemy who shares her curse is only growing stronger. Even in eternity, it seems as if time is running out. Her newest champion is different from the others, though. The villagers she has sought out in the past have proven ineffective. Perhaps the demon who lives in the town now will prove to be more successful. All she has to do is convince him of her plight but no matter how hard she tries, it seems communication is not something that will come easy. He has to listen and he has to act. If Kristin can't explain herself in the next three days, not only will she be doomed to relive her horror once more but... the town the demon calls home and all its inhabitants will surely be destroyed just like all the others.
