Joseph Radcliffe and his wife Penelope have growing concerns about living in London. They decide to travel with their sons and head north to Cumbria. Joseph decides to commission a well-known and skilled architect by the name of Edward Masters to create a massive mansion for them. What were these concerns about living in London that caused them to move?Wanting to build something really unique and unusual, Edward Masters came up with the design of using the calendar as a template for the estate. As such, it had 12 hallways, 12 chimneys, seven separate wings, and a grand total of 365 panes of glass distributed over the entire structure. But a dark secret surrounding the building materials from a long-abandoned insane asylum in nearby Glasson, coupled with Masters' burning hatred of his new benefactor, led to a tragedy that baffled everyone in the community. What exactly was this dark secret? What was the tragedy that happened?The old mansion went dark and vacant for many years as locals avoided it, citing a curse or a demonic legend to be associated with the old mansion. But in 2018, a developer, Graham Torrey, came along and had the vision to create a luxury set of apartment flats from all the rooms in the mansion while keeping the calendar theme intact. A young couple from Manchester, Martha Adams and Louise Wells, heard of the project and were the first owners, along with their newly adopted twin girls, Annabelle and Alicia. Much like the Radcliffes before them, Martha and Louise had grown weary of Manchester for many of the same reasons, but one reason was important to them. What were the real reasons that Martha and Louise decided to leave Manchester?All seemed perfect initially, and the bucolic surroundings thrilled them all. But soon, mysterious and increasingly worse problems began to arise for Martha, Louise and their daughters. What exactly is causing so much chaos at the renovated Calendar Mansion?
