12 Hours in Hell 💀 scary.co

Four teenage party animals race down a rural back road in a jacked-up 1970 GTO. Their trunk stuffed with beer they have already started partying as they make their way to a beer bust at a local gravel pit. KEITH, a burly, black-haired, car freak; PHIL, a laid-back, easy going, underachiever; RENEE, a raven-haired wild child with an IQ of 193; and KENNY BOY, the weed fiend, stoner supreme; quickly learn the party’s over when suddenly the windows go black. The radio dies. Time stops. Stunned, panic overwhelms them as they struggle to stop the GTO. Abruptly the darkness disappears. The GTO is headed for a ditch. They manage to stop the car by sliding into an embankment. Although shaken, they continue on to the party. When they arrive at the pit they realize that no one is there or has been there for a very long time. Unnerved, they head for town. The town is empty, shrouded in a gloomy twilight. The houses are dark and all the cars are gone. They decide to go to the police station in the hope of finding answers. They find the police station empty but discover a calendar dated 2012. They realize something bad has happened. Unsure and afraid they arm themselves with shotguns and a 45 cal. pistol from the Police Station. Renee wants to go home. There they learn that they had disappeared and were considered dead some years before. They also learn about the discovery of Gates of Barathrum otherwise known as the Gates of Hell. Kenny boy puts it all together and they realize the end of the world has already happened. The last year the world was alive was 2012. Everyone they knew and loved is gone. They believe they are alone in a cold dead world. Until they are attacked by a hoard of shadow devils; vicious malformed little demons whose only purpose is to kill and eat any living thing left in the world. They manage to outrun the demonic hoard after a brutal firefight. Renee who is the brains behind the bunch figures out that the weird incident earlier must have been a dimensional vortex. She rationalizes their only chance is to go through the vortex again, hopeful it will return them back to their dimension and make it all go away. They speculate the vortex opens every twelve hours. Now all they have to do is survive twelve hours in hell and hope she's right. The problem is staying alive until the vortex opens again in twelve hours. Every time they stop they are attacked. They soon realize the shadow devils are in fact hunting them and will not stop until they kill and eat them. Wounded and running out of gas our party animals discover getting into Hell is a hell've a lot easier than getting out.
