Overview

After being betrayed by the creatures of Remains after their attempts to aid them against the invasion of Robotica, and after Darkus had been led to disappointment after his long journey to find Tinkarius, Darkus and his crew decide to lay low for a while and focus on formulating the antidote for the Ghoul Grime 3.0 toxin crafted by the Noctria. After time passes Darkus becomes stir crazy and agrees to run an errand for Kursus to obtain a rare ingredient from the High-Noon Market; an event taking place in Lanteria for trading goods with creatures far from Remains and to mingle with the locals. During the attempt to obtain the specific ingredient needed Darkus' eyes catch a mysterious creature and follows her back to her dwelling, soon finding out about an ancient race that had supposedly been extinct for many years. With his new luck to find new things and a new power Darkus realizes that perhaps in order to find his Creator he must search his origins. During his search Darkus becomes obsessed, avoiding threats such as Arcane-VI; an elite group of outcast bounty hunters, as well as the Crophix army arisen by the elders of Remains. Darkus is greatly encouraged to put a halt to his research and aid his comrades in a war that seems inevitable. Darkus must lead the army he was destined to command and overcome his new fears.
