Jon Elan, a young newspaper reporter, experiences debilitating dreams that begin to negatively impact his heart. There is definitely chemistry between them that neither can explain or wishes to acknowledge.Brenda believes that the murder of her brother, Tony, is somehow related to the burnings that Jon is investigating. He agrees to help Brenda solve her brother’s death and soon becomes the target of two separatist groups; one black and one white. Both groups have something to hide and will do anything to protect their respective secrets.The more Jon and Brenda get to know each other the more evident their similarities become. They both have a chip on their shoulder when it comes to racial prejudice that they need to resolve.
