For many will come in My name, saying ‘I am the Christ, and will deceive many. … Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. … For false Christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. Matthew 24:4-5, 11, 24 KJVAccording to the Lord Jesus Christ, satanic deception will be the greatest problem the believers will face within Christendom in the last days as the world is getting closer to His return. The Bible indicates to us as deception was the first weapon that the devil used to cause the fall of humanity in the Garden of Eden, and it will be the same in the final stage of the earth’s history. Unfortunately, the vast majority of the Christians living in this time of the end do not take heed of the Lord’s warning. We are living in a critical time.For over the past fifty years, mainstream Christianity has turned progressively into an apostate religious system. Many Christian denominations around the world have departed from the simplicity of the gospel of salvation in Jesus Christ.
