Overview
The Mist in the Mirror is a ghost story reminiscent in plot and style to nineteenth-century English fiction. All atmosphere and mood, it invites reading aloud, and Charles Kay does handsomely by it. His reading has a hushed, intimate quality which allows him to almost whisper his tale in the listener's ear. Although he reads most of the time in the character of the first-person narrator, he gives the brief speeches of other characters good definition and variety. This is a tale of delicious dread, written and read in the spirit of entertainment.A complete and unabridged recording on 6 audio cassettes (approx. 6.1 hours).
