Overview
As the harvest moon rises, Xavier and Eve walk hand in hand towards the old apple tree and contemplate the dark mysteries of Halloween. But what they don’t realize is that the night means more than simply tricks and treats. Far away, Pap acknowledges the truth: that the world is rife with death, and with a thousand things a thousand time worse. It is a truth that many will come to know throughout these 31 interlocking tales of Halloween. Jack attempts to interweave epic debaucheries and spooky occult ceremonies as he throws the darkest party of the year, but finds that there’s a fine line between a little planned chaos and the terror of actual mayhem. Ethan longs to exude the bravery of his older cousins as they carry out the Jack-O-Lantern customs of the season, but will his mettle hold when he learns how real the evil is? Cecilia tries to push away the memory of dark secrets only to find that you can’t run far from family. John Wesley desperately scours the halls of his ancestral mansion seeking the answer to his wife’s untimely death. Aos Si dream up wild mischief to terrorize young boys. And all the while the Witches Three cast their Samhain spells beneath the silver moonlight, lusting for the chance to hunt, to carry out their midnight rites.
