The great renegade noble, the Law Man, has never forgotten the massacre of his family at the hands of the land’s bastard king, Morbenon. While the Law Man prepares to launch a final assault on the king’s castle, an increasingly desperate Morbenon discovers four ancient stones. His sorcerers hope to utilize a dark ritual to siphon the magic held within these objects and grant the King untold power, finally bringing an end to the Law Man’s insurrection. Their attempts, however, go awry, sparking cataclysmic events that shock the kingdom. Even the Law Man is forever changed as a result, his quest for vengeance transforming into an immortal struggle against the unleashed darkness that threatens to consume the realm and steal his very soul.
