In southern Albion, west of the city of Palisade, stands Eidolon Manor. Nobody is quite certain just how long it has stood, or how many fleeting owners have passed through. There are rumors that it is haunted by an ancient curse. Rumors of something hidden away in the vault at the manor's heart. The solitary maidservant of the current owners keeps an uneasy watch over this vault, and the terrible secrets lurking therein.Kenna hasn't lived in Palisade for very long, though she's managed to gain something of a reputation as a freelance engineer. More discerning clients also know her as a capable locksmith. When she's summoned to Eidolon Manor by its newest owners, she finds a most peculiar door waiting to be unlocked. Unfortunately, some doors are kept locked with very good reason. Together with the unusual maidservant, she will need to find a way to untangle the manor's secrets, or watch everything around her fall to fire and ruin.
