Drayton is a small town located in Central Massachusetts. The Quabbin Reservoir surrounds the area. Drayton is known for its fishing and hunting. During the spring and summer, folks come from across the state to fish the waters. Every thing is going well for Sheriff Jordan Smith until his step-son Alex goes on a camping trip with his father and his dad's friend Greg. While camping the trio is attacked, and while Alex manages to escape he witnesses, his dad and his dad's friend Greg get attacked and dragged deep into the forest's that surround the Quabbin. Roger, and his team of Environmentalist discover the real truth. Roger however keep's it quiet and doesn't reveal what the team saw. It is after that when fisherman again go missing while fishing on the Quabbin. When Jordan starts getting reports of attacks around town he knows that he needs to do something fast. Jordan reluctantly decides to bring in Elliot Levinson who run's a small operation in New Hampshire that specializes in searching for the Supernatural. Jordan must find a way to work with Elliot and his team to eliminate the threat.
